Matthew D. Lawrence is a distinguished mural artist who transforms his vision using various media into custom works. He continues to convey his message and defy the odds while struggling with being color-blind. His early foundations in the fine arts evolved from the thrill associated with graffiti in the early1990's.

Matt defines his work as “Urban Neo-Expressionism,” synthesizing characteristics of Urban Contemporary, Neo-Dada and Abstract Expressionism. His vision is formed through interpretation of music, life experience and social issues and conveyed through an indelible and sacred expression somewhat comparable to tribal art mixed with calligraphy.
